Trust · Anti-spam

PulseSignal is not a spam vector.

Effective date · 1 June 2026

We send transactional and marketing email under strict deliverability rules. Our customers must do the same when they use PulseSignal data for outreach. This page spells out both sides: what we promise about our email, and the rules you accept when you use the Service.

Our commitments

The email PulseSignal itself sends.

  • Every transactional email is sent only because you opted into a workflow that requires it (sign-up, verification, password-reset, billing, digest, alert).
  • Every marketing email contains a one-click unsubscribe link, the legal sender name, and the postal address required by CAN-SPAM. Unsubscribe is honored within 10 business days (we aim for under 24 hours).
  • We never sell, rent, share, or trade your email address with third parties for their marketing.
  • We separate transactional sending from marketing sending at the domain level so unsubscribing from a newsletter does not break password-reset deliverability.
  • We publish DKIM, SPF, and DMARC records and monitor mail-tester.com / Google Postmaster Tools for reputation.
  • We respect GDPR + ePrivacy consent: marketing email to EU / UK residents is opt-in (not opt-out), with a clearly separated tick-box at signup.
  • We respect CASL (Canada) by requiring express consent and naming the sender + including a working unsubscribe.
  • We respect the Australian Spam Act 2003: express consent, accurate sender ID, functional unsubscribe.

Customer rules

What you may not do with PulseSignal data.

PulseSignal is a competitive-intelligence research product. It is not a cold-email tool, not a lead-list, and not a circumvention path around consent rules. When you use the Service you agree:

  • You must not use PulseSignal data to send unsolicited bulk email, SMS, WhatsApp, or LinkedIn outreach.
  • You must not enrich, augment, or de-anonymize PulseSignal signals into a database of personal contact information that you then market against without an independent lawful basis.
  • You must not use PulseSignal-surfaced executive movements to harass, defame, or send threatening communications to any individual.
  • You must comply with the email and electronic-communications laws of every jurisdiction you send into, including CAN-SPAM (US), CASL (Canada), GDPR + ePrivacy (EU / EEA / UK), Australian Spam Act, and CTDPA / similar US state laws.
  • You must keep your own records of consent / lawful basis for every recipient. PulseSignal does not provide a lawful basis for your outreach.
  • You remain solely responsible for the content, frequency, and targeting of any communication you send. PulseSignal is a research tool, not an outreach tool.

Violating these rules is a breach of our Acceptable Use Policy and may result in suspension or termination of your account, with or without notice. Where conduct rises to a legal violation we may report it to the relevant regulator.
